United Nations has invited Peace Corps of Nigeria to attend the “52nd Session of the Commission for Social Development” from 11th-21st of February, 2014 at the United Nations Headquarters, New York. This was organized by the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA)- Social Policy and Development Division.

The theme for this Session is “Promoting Empowerment of People in Achieving Poverty Eradication, Social Integration and Full Employment and Decent Work for All”. To this effect, the PCN has desginated its Offcial Representatives to attend the Session. The nominees are: Amb. (Dr.) Dickson A.O Akoh (The National Commandant, PCN) and Omolola .A. Ahmmed (Asst. Nat. Commandant, Finance & Admin).
