Peace Corps of Nigeria Commences Training of 77,774 officers

As part of its function on Capacity Building, the Peace Corps of Nigeria in partnership with Sanstonz, conducts first batch training of officers in Abuja on Google Digital Skills.

This training is intended to spread through the 36 States of the Federation including Federal Capital Territory as well as the 774 local Government Areas of the Federation.

It is important to state that, one of the functions of Peace Corps of Nigeria is to enlist, mobilise, train, orientate and provide gainful employment for the youths, hence this partnership as this training is geared towards empowering Nigeria youths on Google Digital Skills

The Communication manager of Sanstonz, Mr Genius Amaraizu, one of the google digital skills trainer urged the officers of the Peace Corps of Nigeria to take advantage of the training and create an online presence to promote the mandates of the Peace Corps of Nigeria as the training is geared towards Empowering the youths on Online Crisis Management , Social Media Policy, Digital Marketing, Usage of the Internet and etc.

The National Commandant of the Corps Dr Dickson Akoh urged officers and men of the Corps across the Federation to avail themselves for this training as it will serve as a springboard for greatness.

    A very important training for officers of the Corps. A good step in positioning Peace Corps for an high-tech security world. Let’s give Peace a chance.

    Is a nice idea as it will help to create awareness on the immediate occurrance of terrorism and immediate arrival of criminals in any locality.
